Today, the Tannbergerhof in Lech with the cozy restaurant Martin Stüberl, the Tannberg Bar and especially its famous Eisbar is one of the best-known hotel and restaurant establishments at the foot of the Arlberg.
The success story dates back to the hotel’s founder, Martin Jochum, born in 1885, who was employed as a master cheese-maker with the dairy cooperative (today’s Lech-Zürs Tourismus) until the hotel opened.
On January 28, 1928, Martin Jochum took the concession test for the hotel and bar business and laid the foundation for one of the most tradition-rich hotels in Lech.
